| How to Install the Update? |
Important: Please refer to the The Finance Shop Release Notes for detailed instructions on how to install the update.
To update your version of TFS follow these steps.
Download the latest TFS ZIP file (using the download link above).
- Save the TFS ZIP file into the following location:
\[tfs folder]\Setup\The Finance Shop\
Typically t:\TheFinanceShop\Setup\The Finance Shop.
- Extract the ZIP file into a new folder. Typically The Finance Shop x.x.x (where x.x.x is the new TFS version number).
Uninstall Existing Version of TFS.
On all systems running TFS (this may include your server):
- Open Control Panel (Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs). The Add or Remove Programs dialog will display.
- Select The Finance Shop x.x.x and click the Remove button (where x.x.x is your current TFS version number).
- Close the Add or Remove Programs dialog.
Install New Version of TFS.
On all systems running TFS:
- Open Windows Explorer.
- Browse to \[tfs folder]\Setup\The Finance Shop\The Finance Shop x.x.x\Setup\
- Double-click the setup.exe and follow the on-screen prompts to install TFS.
