16/9/2008	The Finance Shop Version 2009 TFS Version 2009 is the latest release of Australia's leading finance and lease management software, and will be available from Friday, September 26th 2008. Brokers Australia wide will benefit from new features including: Support for Anti Money Laundering (AML) legislation Improved SmartDocs support including more lenders Enhanced support for the Westpac SmartDoc facility Enhanced support for the Macquarie SmartLodge facility Improved searching facilities A range of performance enhancements All current TFS clients will automatically receive TFS Version 2009 via mail. If you are not currently using TFS and would like to know more, or you would like to renew your Annual Software Maintenance (ASM), please contact us.
14/7/2008	TFS Standard Specifications Change TFS’s standard specifications document, licence agreement and terms of use information have been updated as part of a standard periodic review. An updated copy of the specification document is available to clients on request, and will be included with the next major TFS upgrade due in October 2008.
2/6/2008	TFS Training 2008 In 2008 CSG Software will be hosting hands-on training sessions for The Finance Shop (TFS). Training sessions provide an excellent opportunity to get the most from your TFS investment. For clients in the Melbourne area, monthly training sessions are available at our Oakleigh office. Interstate clients seeking training should register their interest with us for training to be held in your city. TFS Training includes: Comprehensive hands on training Exercises to practice what has been learned Speak with support staff to ask questions and discuss TFS Learn tips and tricks for getting the most from TFS Recommended best practices TFS Training Calendar for 2008 Oakleigh Victoria: Tuesday, July 8 Tuesday, August 5 Tuesday, September 2 Tuesday, October 7 Tuesday, November 11 Tuesday, December 2 There are two session times available for each day and content will be determined by registered attendees. Morning session 10am to 1pm Afternoon session 2pm to 5pm The cost for training is $180 ex. GST per session. Up to 3 people from a single company can attend for $180. Sessions are restricted to a maximum of 8 people. Minimum attendance and prior registration will be required for a session to be held. To register for a training session, please email support@csggroup.com.au stating the date, session, and number of people that will be attending. Please also briefly indicate any specific content you would like covered in training.
8/5/2008	Upcoming TFS Development TFS Version 5.0 (2009) is scheduled for release in October 2008. This new version will include significant new functionality in the following areas: Support for Anti Money Laundering (AML) legislation. Improved SmartDocs support including more lenders. A range of performance enhancements. Dozens of items based on user feedback and much more. If you have a feature request for TFS or any feedback on what you would like to see in future versions please contact us.
16/4/2008	Financier Integration in 2008 / 2009 We need your help to expand the SmartLodge and SmartDocs features of TFS. Lenders are deferring more and more work to brokers with little or no remuneration. Many that still require brokers to generate documents are increasing their "Doc Fees"! Only through broker demands will this situation change. Please raise these issues with your lenders and their representatives. Convey how much easier it would be to lodge deals automatically from within TFS, or produce documentation at the click of a button.
