Mandatory Software Update for January 2012
All clients are advised that a mandatory software update will be released shortly, where all TFS software applications and versions MUST be updated before February 1, 2012 as a part of the annual licence renewal process. Emails will be sent to clients shortly detailing this change and the update process to be followed.

Latest Standard TFS Specifications
The latest standard specifications document for TFS applies from January 1, 2011. It is highly recommended that clients read and understand this document. TFS v7.0 Support Closing November 2011
Users of TFS v7.0 are reminded (as per the TFS Standard Specifications document) that support for this version closes on November 30, 2011. All users of this version are encouraged to upgrade to TFS v8.0 to ensure they are benefiting from the new features and updates now available.

TFS 2011 (Version 8.0) Now Available!
The Finance Shop 2011 is the latest release of Australia's leading Finance and Lease Management Software and is now available. It includes significant new features and changes in the following areas:
- Updated SmartLodge support: you can now electronically submit applications to the Bank of Queensland
- New module for MYOB Card Integration (sold separately)
- Ability to store a brokers Credit Licence Number and Credit Licence Representative Numbers in TFS to be used in mail merge documents and reports
- New database tool Update Expired Insurance Renewal Dates which adds a select number of months to the Insurance Expiry Date for clients based on criteria entered
- Ability to add Trust Type and Trust Name fields to entities and client contacts
- New report filtering, report type, and report categories allowing new ways to view data in reports
- Improved support for Client Relationship Management
- Dozens of improvements to existing functionality, providing enhanced productivity and efficiency

CSG Group Pty Ltd Merge with Insula Group Pty Ltd
On July 1 2011, CSG Group Pty Ltd will be merging with Insula Group Pty Ltd (Insula).
CSG Group Pty Ltd as an entity will continue to operate, but all products and services from July 1 will be supplied by Insula. MYOB Integration Available
Increase efficiency with MYOB integration for TFS. TFS Integration software provides a safe and structured process for transferring data between TFS and third party systems. The aim of TFS Integration is to ensure that client information remains updated in both TFS and third party applications. TFS Integration facilitates the integration of information between TFS and MYOB Premier 12 and MYOB Accounting 18. TFS Integration is one-way, transferring information from TFS to the third party application.
Some of the key features are:
- Create new Customer Cards in MYOB for new clients added to TFS.
- Keep MYOB updated with changes to client details made in TFS.
